A couple of Butler County residents have received federal prison time following sentencing hearings in Pittsburgh Thursday.
Former Butler County Detective Scott Roskovski was sentenced to a total of 30 months while his wife Stephanie, who was the former Chief Operating Officer at Butler Health System received 51 months total.
The pair had been charged with fraud, embezzlement and taxes in regards to the theft of over $1 million from BHS. The amount of restitution the Roskovskis will have to pay has not yet been determined but their plea deal will allow them to keep their home and business.
Scott had attempted to switch his plea to not guilty over the past couple of months after entering a guilty plea last year but the judge handling the case rejected that request.
