A couple in Butler County residents are scheduled to appear in federal court later today for sentencing hearings.
Scott Roskovski and his wife Stephanie will be sentenced on charges of fraud, embezzlement and taxes in regards to the theft of over $1 million from Butler Health System.
Former Butler County Detective Scott had attempted to switch his plea to not guilty over the past couple of months, arguing that he didn’t act with intent to falsify loans—a charge he pled guilty to last year.
The judge rejected the argument and said sentencing will move forward with in-person hearings in Pittsburgh at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
