Mother’s Day is this weekend and those looking for a gift for a mom who enjoys reading are invited to visit a local book sale.
The Friends of the Butler Library have opened a used book store inside the Butler Area Public Library first floor reading room.
From 2 to 5:30 p.m. every Thursday, as well as 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. o Mondays, visitors will be able to browse and choose from many different genres including fiction, history, cookbooks, and magazines.
Prices are $1 for a hardback, paperbacks for 50 to 75 cents, and kids books for a quarter. Only cash or checks will be accepted with exact change requested. Masks must be worn and donations are not accepted at this time.
