Local Democrats have chosen a familiar name as their candidate for the upcoming special election for state representative in the 60th District.
Buffalo Township resident Frank C. Prazenica Jr will run for the seat that formerly belonged to Republican Representative Jeff Pyle who stepped down as a result of health issues.
Prazenica spent time as the Superintendent of South Butler County School District as recently as 2017 and is also currently a school board director in the Freeport Area School District.
This election will take place the same day as Pennsylvania’s primary election which is May 21st.
