One person was taken to the hospital following a crash Wednesday in Portersville.
The two vehicle crash happened just before 7 a.m. on East Portersville Road. Police say 49-year-old Timothy Gerlach of Petrolia was driving a box truck in the west lane of East Portersville Road when he tried to make a left onto the I-79 southbound ramp.
That’s when police say he failed to yield to a car driven by 45-year-old Margaret Skelley of Slippery Rock.
Skelley suffered minor injuries and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Both vehicles were significantly damaged.
