A portion of I-79 in Slippery Rock is closed due to a tractor trailer accident.
It happened around 9:30 this morning near mile marker 101—which is just north of the Route 422 interchange. Both north bound lanes are closed in between the Rt. 422 and Rt. 108 exits.
Dispatchers say no one was injured, but the tractor trailer jack knifed.
Traffic is significantly delayed—emergency crews urge drivers to avoid I-79 at the moment.
