PennDOT will be revealing plans for work on Route 228 in a virtual presentation Tuesday.
The project involves the restoration and resurfacing of Route 228 from the roundabout at Saxonburg Boulevard to the intersection with Sarver Road in Buffalo and Clinton Township.
A majority of work will be to widen the roadway. Other improvements will be made to drainage, signage, and markings.
The project is set to start in the fall of 2023.
