Pennsylvania’s Lieutenant Governor made it official this morning…he’s running for the U.S. Senate.
Democrat John Fetterman said he’s formally in the race to be the next Senator from Pennsylvania.
The Western PA native has served as Lieutenant Governor since 2018. Previously he was the mayor of Braddock for almost 12 years.
However, this is not his first run for Senate. He lost in the Democratic primary to Katie McGinty in 2016.
Fetterman is seeking the seat currently held by Republican Pat Toomey, who announced his retirement at the end of this term.
