Emergency crews including Butler City and Butler Township Fire Departments are on the scene of a four alarm fire at the Sir Speedy building in downtown Butler.
The call came in at 8:22 a.m. this morning and Main Street is currently shutdown from Wayne Street to Jefferson Street. It is unclear at this time if there is anybody in the apartments above the business and smoke is billowing from the top floor on both sides of the building. Sir Speedy is located in between Edward Jones Financial and Reclamation Brewery.
Avoid the area at all costs.
Update 10:02 a.m. : Fire crews have evacuated the building and are fighting the fire from ladder trucks.
