If you’re heading onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike today without an EZ Pass, you’re in store for a major toll hike.
Starting this past weekend, tolls for drivers without an EZ Pass increased by 45 percent.
However, EZ Pass users are not spared from the increase either, as rates went up six percent.
Turnpike officials say the increases are necessary in order to make their annual payment to PennDOT.
