A former Knoch High School principal and active volunteer in youth sports has died.
Regis Schiebel of Cabot passed away at Concordia Lutheran Ministries on Sunday.
Schiebel was an assistant principal at the high school until 1993 and served as the “Voice of the Knoch Knights” as the public address announcer for Knoch football until a few years ago.
He also served on the district’s scholarship foundation board and was inducted into the Knoch High School Sports Hall of Fame.
Visitation and funeral services will be private and held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.
Schiebel was 86.
