There were 201 new cases of COVID-19 and six additional deaths reported by the state for Butler County on Wednesday.
That now brings the county’s death toll due to the coronavirus to 156.
There were also 175 negative test results, giving the daily update from the Department of Health a 53.4 percent positivity rate.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 50 patients for the coronavirus, with 11 COVID patients in the ICU. We’re expected to hear from Butler Health System later today with another update.
There were just under 10,000 new cases statewide and an additional 230 deaths.
