There were 85 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County on Wednesday.
Although the number of reported tests was small, as there were 86 negative tests, which gives the Department of Health’s daily report a 49.7 percent positivity rate.
There were two additional deaths for the county today, bringing the total to 82.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 40 patients for the coronavirus, with seven people in the ICU.
Overall, there were 8,291 new cases, 194 additional deaths, and around 16,000 negative tests.
