There were 219 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday for Butler County.
That comes with 324 negative tests, giving the daily report from the Department of Health a 40.3 percent positivity rate.
There were also another six additional deaths reported today, bringing the death toll for the county to 69.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 26 patients for the coronavirus, with five people in the ICU. We’re expecting to hear another update from Butler Health System later today.
There were 144 additional deaths statewide, marking a grim milestone for Pennsylvania as there has now been more than 10,000 people who have died from the coronavirus.
The Department of Health also reported 6,759 new cases and around 20,000 negative tests.
