Penn State running back Journey Brown’s career in football is over due to a heart condition. Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin made the announcement to reporters after the team’s practice Wednesday. The junior from Meadville – led Penn State with 890 yards rushing in 2019 with 12 touchdowns. He ran for 202 yards against Memphis in the Cotton Bowl last season, setting a Nittany Lion post-season record. Brown had hopes of playing in the NFL.
