There were 21 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County Monday.
That comes with 139 negative tests, giving the daily report a 13.1 percent positivity rate.
There were a total of 47 new cases over the weekend for the county.
Also, over the past seven days, Butler County’s positivity rate was at 3.5 percent—health officials say anything over five percent would cause concern. Which, Pennsylvania is now collectively at exactly a five percent positivity rate.
Overall, the state added 1,407 positive cases, seven additional deaths, and about 12,000 negative tests.
As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating three patients for the coronavirus, with no one in the ICU. Butler Health System officials did report a death to the Department of Health on Friday.
