Multiple fire departments responded to a structure fire in the city of Butler Monday night.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 8 p.m. Monday for a building on fire on East Cunningham Street.
Butler City firefighters were joined at the scene by crews from Butler Township, Penn Township, and others.
It is unknown if anyone was injured as a result of the blaze but the damage to what looked like second floor apartments above a hair salon appeared to be extensive.
The cause of the fire is also unknown at this time but firefighters could be observed crawling on the roof of the structure.
