Kevin Harvick swept the doubleheader Cup Series weekend at Michigan International Speedway – earning victories in both Saturday and Sunday’s races. Harvick held off Denny Hamlin for the victory Sunday, and in doing so, became the first driver since Richard Petty in 1971 to win back-to-back Cup Series races on consecutive days. He now has 55 career victories – tied with Rusty Wallace for 10th place all-time.
The drivers will tackle the Daytona road course this Sunday.
