All people responsible for church safety including clergy and building supervisors are invited to attend an upcoming safety presentation.
The Community Alliance Church is hosting a House of Worship Safety Seminar and Active Shooter: Preparation and Response Program on Tuesday. An afternoon session will run 1 to 4 p.m. and an evening session is planned for 6 to 9 p.m.
There will also be an optional Stop the Bleed Training offered from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. Stop the Bleed is a national campaign to help improve survival from life-threatening bleeding.
Those interested are asked to RSVP online to Butler County Emergency Services.
