A Grove City police officer was uninjured following an October arrest that involved a knife.
According to the Grove City Police, an officer was summoned to a West Main Street business back on October 15th to check on a 61-year-old man who had a knife.
Authorities say that when the officer arrived on scene, the suspect had several wounds to his legs and neck. As the officer attempted to gain possession of the knife, the Grove City man attempted to stab the officer. Officials say that the officer was able to gain possession, and took the man into custody.
Charges of Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct are pending at this time.
