In honor of the late Fred Rogers, many people in the area are celebrating “Cardigan Day” today.
The longtime children’s television show host would dawn a cardigan sweater in nearly every episode of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.
Pittsburgh-based public television station WQED—which was home to Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood—started the effort to coincide with World Kindness Day.
