A number of Downtown Butler businesses and residents are without power this morning after a one vehicle accident.
Penn Power says the outage is affecting anywhere from 100 to 500 customers.
Police say a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole on East Quarry Street just before 8 a.m., which caused the outage. City Police say no one was hurt in the accident.
Crews are working near the intersection of the Viaduct Bridge and McKean Street—the traffic lights at that intersection are out.
Power is expected to be restored by 11:30 a.m.
