Students at a local school district are observing Red Ribbon Week with a variety of theme days.
Red Ribbon Week begins Monday and runs through Friday in the Mars Area School District.
Students at Mars Area High School, Middle School, and elementary schools will be wearing red tomorrow to bring attention to students against doing drugs. Other theme days include wearing sports team apparel, hats, bright colors, and school colors.
Red Ribbon Week is an annual drug, alcohol, and tobacco prevention awareness campaign sponsored by the National Family Partnership.
