A local State Police Trooper is among those set to be honored at an event next week in Pittsburgh.
Trooper Philip Treadway of State Police Troop D Butler Barracks will receive a 2019 DUI TOP GUN Award from the Pennsylvania DUI Association.
The Association’s 40th annual meeting and awards celebration is planned for Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Station Square.
In addition to recognition for dedication to keeping roads safe, Treadway and 68 other law enforcement officers from across the state will receive their own portable breath test equipment to assist them with future DUI apprehensions.
