One person has died following a crash that occurred late last week on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.
According to the Butler State Police, a 22-year-old Allison Park man was traveling north on I-79 around 6am Friday (September 20th) when he lost control of his pickup.
Authorities say that the driver then overcorrected, and came across the roadway before hitting an embankment and rolling over. According to police, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
