A local man is facing charges after he was accused of sexually assaulting a child from Petrolia.
According to the Butler State Police, their barracks received a Child Line report regarding a sexual assault that occurred back in November of 2018.
After a forensic interview with the 14-year-old female victim, police believed that the assault occurred on two separate occasions at the victim’s home.
Authorities later charged 47-year-old Ivan Cumba of Butler with Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault, and Corruption of Minors in addition to Disorderly Conduct relating to the case.
