A local man is facing charges after a dispute over a parking spot involving a stun gun over the weekend.
According to a criminal complaint filed by Butler City Police, 30-year-old Aaron Wiemelt of Butler has been charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats as well as disorderly conduct.
Officers responded to West Brady Street just after 5 p.m. Sunday and spoke with a man who claimed that he was doing mechanic work on his truck in the parking lot when Wiemelt was trying to pull in.
Wiemelt allegedly pointed a stun gun at the man during a verbal argument before going into his apartment. Police found the stun gun in Wiemelt’s possession when they took him into custody.
