State police dealt with several vehicle crashes over the weekend in Butler County.
One person was reportedly sent to the hospital Friday evening following a crash in Butler Township.
The one-vehicle accident happened about 5:30 p.m. at the dead-end of New Castle Road (near Valley Lines…past Greenwood Drive).
A car reportedly crashed into a retaining wall before ending in a ditch. The car sustained heavy front-end damage.
It’s unclear what caused the crash.

Police believe a driver fell asleep, which led to a one-vehicle crash in Fairview Township, on Friday evening.
The crash happened about 6 p.m. Friday on Route 268 (Kittanning Pike), near Pine Road.
36-year-old Brian Luna of Westmoreland County was traveling north in a BMW when police believe he fell asleep at the wheel.
His car struck a stone fence, mailbox and then continued into a neighbor’s yard while rolling.
State police say Luna was wearing a seatbelt and only suffered minor injuries.

Police say no one was seriously injured in a crash Saturday morning in Muddy Creek Township.
The two-vehicle crash was reportedly about 9 a.m. on Route 19, near Kildoo Road, which is near McConnells Mill State Park.
State police say 19-year-old Gino Ficca of Butler was traveling north on Rt. 19 in a Ford Escort when he turned left onto Kildoo in front of a vehicle traveling south.
There were two people in the other car (a Ford Focus)- 33-year-old Kyle Gercken and his 28-year-old wife Elizabeth, both of Slippery Rock.
Police say both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage and weren’t drivable. All three people told police they sustained some minor injuries but none were taken to the hospital.

A Karns City man was involved in a crash Saturday evening in Petrolia.
The one-vehicle accident happened about 6:30 p.m. on South Argyle Street.
According to State Police, 18-year-old Ethan McElroy was traveling west when he lost control of his Ford Ranger when rounding a bend.
The pickup truck ended up rolling onto its driver’s side and bumping into an embankment.
McElroy sustained a minor injury to his left arm, according to police. He was cited for speeding.
