A Kentucky man is facing charges in Butler County after an incident of alleged strangulation in Summit Township earlier this week.
According to a criminal complaint filed by State Police, troopers were dispatched to Smith Grove Campground on Herman Road just before midnight on Monday.
Witnesses told police that they heard 34-year-old Kyle Madden arguing with and threatening his wife inside his camper. Troopers observed swelling and bruising to the victim’s face and neck.
Madden has been booked into the Butler County Prison on charges including felony strangulation as well as terroristic threats and simple assault.
