Good news for Penn State students.
The school’s board of trustees voted to approve a tuition freeze for the upcoming school year for in-state students.
It’s the second consecutive year that the board has implemented a tuition freeze. That keeps University Park main campus tuition at $17,416, not counting room, board, and other fees.
The board also approved the $6.9 billion budget for the entire Penn State system—the main campus and two dozen other locations.
