A couple of PennDOT projects will result in local road closures this week.
First, a portion of Camp Ground Road in Mercer and Marion Townships between the intersections with Route 58 and Allison Road will be closed beginning Thursday. This paving project should be able to be completed in one day weather permitting. A detour will be posted and the Allegheny Mineral Corporation will continue to be able to be accessed.
The replacement of the interstate 79 southbound bridge in Cranberry Township will also begin on Thursday with lane restrictions starting at approximately 8 p.m. between the Route 528 exit and the Route 228 exit. North Boundary Road will close starting on Friday at 10 p.m. and is scheduled to reopen by Monday. A detour will be available using Marshall and Rowan Roads as well as Route 19.
