Heavy rain and storms over the weekend caused problems for numerous residents across Butler County.
Flash flooding closed several roads in northern Butler County on Sunday. The Bruin Volunteer Fire Department set up a temporary shelter for people impacted by the rain and flood waters. The Red Cross was also called in to assist.
On Saturday afternoon, heavy rain flooded homes along West Brady Street in the city of Butler. The road was closed about 4:30 p.m. after a downpour.
The National Weather Service Office in Pittsburgh says it has rained every day so far this month, except on July 1.
