The Pennsylvania State Police are reminding state residents that all-terrain vehicles are not allowed on public roads.
The reminder comes amid a growing number of crashes involving ATVs.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police- as of last week- there had been 73 ATV crashes in the state so far this year, including five which involved fatalities and 20 which were DUI-related.
PSP spokesperson Trooper Brent Miller says there are state parks with marked roads that ATV’s can be on- as well as certain roads in rural counties.
