A local community member is taking on a leadership role in a statewide organization.
Butler Township Commissioner President Dave Zarnick was elected as President of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Commissioners. This took place last month at an educational conference last month in Gettysburg.
The PSATC represents first class townships and their elected governing officials before the state’s General Assembly and other state agencies. The group also lobbies state officials on issues of concern.
Township commissioners from across the state attend these conferences to discuss ideas, learn from speakers, and network with colleagues.
