A medical helicopter was called to the scene of a vehicle crash Thursday night in Fairview Township.
It happened around 9 p.m. on Petrolia Road, between Fairview and Petrolia, according to the Butler County 911 Center.
This was reportedly a one-vehicle crash which injured two men. State police have not yet released an official police report but it’s believed the men were traveling in a pick-up truck when the driver lost control on the wet pavement, slid off the road and hit a bank.
One man was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment. The other was reportedly taken to Butler Memorial.
The road was shut down for more than an hour before being re-opened after 10 p.m.
