A 20-year-old from Sarver is accused of causing hundreds of dollars in crop damage.
Police say Darius Obringer drove his pickup truck through several cornfields on a farm on Harvey Road in Buffalo Township late last month.
Obringer allegedly admitted to “doing donuts and speeding” through the fields after he was confronted by a neighbor to get off the property.
Buffalo Township Police believe one other person was involved and also drove a truck through the fields. When asked by police who that person was, Obringer said he didn’t want to “snitch.”
Obringer has been charged with a second-degree misdemeanor count of agricultural vandalism.
The farm’s owner said the vandalism caused $750 in lost crops.
