At least one person was seriously injured in a vehicle crash on Freeport Road Saturday morning.
The call came into Butler County Emergency Services at 7:30 a.m. for a crash at the intersection of Freeport Road and Great Belt Road. One person was reported trapped in the vehicle and a medical helicopter was called to the scene.
Saxonburg EMS and multiple other stations including Middlesex EMS were on the scene as well. Traffic had to be shut down in both directions.
