The National Weather Service has confirmed two more tornadoes touched down in Pennsylvania last week.
Damage surveyors say an EF-0 twister- with winds of up to 75 miles an hour- touched down last Wednesday in Whitneyville, Tioga County. Damage involved trees and some property, but no reported injuries.
Another EF-O touched down in Sullivan County on Wednesday, destroying trees near the town of Dushore.
Twisters also touched down last week in Berks, Lehigh, Bucks, Perry, Dauphin, and Indiana counties.
There have been around 30 confirmed twisters in Pennsylvania thus far in 2019. The state usually sees an average of eight per year.
