A medical helicopter was called to the scene of an early Tuesday morning vehicle crash in northern Butler County.
The crash happened about 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of Beaver Dam Road and Hallston Road in Clay Township, according to the Butler County 911 Center. (The road runs parallel to Route 8 North and the intersection is west of West Sunbury).
Early reports indicate two vehicles were involved. Firefighters had to reportedly extricate at least one person from one of the vehicles.
At 6:45 a.m, firefighters were asked to help set-up a landing zone for a medical helicopter at the Unionville Fire Station.
It’s unclear what caused the crash.
