While some prefer to hit the hiking trails during the summer, if you’re looking for another—perhaps cooler—adventure, look no further than the Pennsylvania Ice Cream Trail.
Last year was the maiden journey of the Ice Cream Trail in the Keystone State and officials say it was so popular, more wanted to get involved.
Carrie Lepore, Deputy Secretary of Tourism for Pennsylvania says the trail is adding 20 more creameries bringing the total to 32, including a few in western Pennsylvania.
“Last year’s trail was a huge success,” Lepore said.
You can get a passport for the trail, which could earn you prizes. There’s more info available online here.
