A local lawmaker has introduced a resolution to help pay tribute to fallen veterans who have not returned home.
Republican U.S. Representative Glenn GT Thompson joined with a Democratic colleague from Virginia to introduce the resolution to never stop searching for MIA and POW service members.
This would ensure that countries entering into trade agreements with the U.S. provide transparent and efficient support in research and recovery efforts of missing American service members.
According to the Department of Defense, over 80,000 American citizens who served in the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and World War II are still missing in action.
