The City of Butler is looking for community members to join a committee that will help ensure an accurate local count during next year’s census.
After hearing from a census representative earlier this month, Butler City Council has approved a motion to form a “Complete Count Committee.”
The size of this committee- as well as the number of meetings to be held- are unknown at this time but this committee will not cost the city any money and will help make sure the city receives the money it deserves, according to officials.
Community members who are interested in joining this committee should email or notify a Butler City Council member.
