In response to some states passing restrictive abortion laws this week, Pennsylvania’s Governor Tom Wolf took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the issue.
“I just want you to know that if such a bill- one that seeks to place a politician between a woman and her doctor when it comes to the most important medical decision she is ever going to make- I will veto it,” Wolf said.
Alabama’s governor signed a bill on Wednesday that restricts an abortion at any stage of pregnancy. The only exception is when the health of the mother is at risk.
Last week, four other states outlawed abortion at the first sign of a fetal heartbeat.
