March 31, 2019: Chip & The Charge Ups

It’s Sunday and that means Grass Roots at 7pm tonight on The Rock Station 97.7fm (live stream available at www.977Rocks.com). We’ll have Chip and Maleena Dominick in the studio with us, two members of the band Chip & The Charge Ups, who will be releasing their 2nd CD on April 5 at the Smiling Moose in Pittsburgh. We’ll hear a couple of tunes from the new CD as well as a couple played live in our studio. We think Chip is now are most frequent guest, but then who’s counting! We‘ll also chat with Scott Dittman about the upcoming Rock Done Right Tour Stop Ales For Athletes 2019 which will be this Saturday April 6. A great cause that has been going on many years for Butler County Special Olympics. Plus it’s just going to be a hell of a great party! We’ll also feature music from Mark Byers, Ben Valasek, The Whelming Waters, and Justin Cook.
