The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Boston Red Sox 8-1 in Grapefruit League play Sunday. Jameson Taillon started the game for the Bucs, and allowed one unearned run over five innings. He struck out six, allowing just four hits. He did not walk a batter. Starling Marte hit his third home run of the spring, Corey Dickerson hit his second.
The Bucs have just eight games remaining in Florida. They visit Tampa Bay today.
