The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Detroit Tigers on Saturday in preseason play, losing by a final of 6-3.
Chris Archer started on the mound for the Pirates. He pitched three innings, and allowed four runs (three of which were earned), and struck out four. Former Pirate Josh Harrison went one-for-two at the plate with an RBI.
The Pirates return to action on Sunday, and will host the Boston Red Sox. First pitch is set for 1:05pm.
