The Penguins picked up their first win of the season against the Devils with a 4-3 win in New Jersey. The Pens got four goals from four different players. Zach Aston-Reese, Bryan Rust, Nick Bjugstad, and Chad Ruhwedel all registered goals. And after being pulled on Saturday against Calgary, goaltender Matt Murray returned to the net to pick up the win stopping 33 of 36 shots. With the two points, the Pens remain a part of the top eight teams in the Eastern Conference.
