A local state lawmaker is stepping down.
Senator Don White has announced he will retire from the Pennsylvania State Senate as of February 28th.
“This is a day that I knew was coming, I just didn’t know when. I’ve been back and forth on this issue for the better part of a year. When I came here, I was 50 years old but I felt like I was 30. I was full of energy, anxious to do a good job, but now I’m 69 and I feel like I’m 89.”
White plans to further discuss his decision Wednesday morning in Indiana, PA.
