Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner will not play this weekend in Oakland due to an ankle injury suffered in the loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Conner is currently fifth among NFL players with the most yards from the line of scrimmage this season. He is leading the AFC with 12 rushing touchdowns, and is second with 909 yards rushing.
The Steelers signed running back Trey Edmunds from their practice squad. He is the brother of Steelers first-round draft pick this season Terrell Edmunds.
To make room for Edmunds, wide receiver Justin Hunter was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, also suffered in the game with the Chargers.
