A longtime local rural dining destination has apparently closed.
The J-Barn Country Inn in Buffalo Township is listed as permanently closed online. Their phone number is disconnected or no longer in service.
The Pittsburgh Tribune Review is reporting there is a sign on the restaurant door that reads the J Barn is closed due to a family emergency.
The restaurant opened decades ago under the name Jardines and was known for a farm to table fine dining experience.
